Hiking tour Prielom Hornádu in Slovenský Raj

Welcome to Prielom Hornádu, one of the most popular gorge and the most popular hike of National Park Slovenský Raj.

Slovensnký Raj is translated as Slovak Paradise, and this is very true! Our guided hiking tour in Prielom Hornádu will show you all the green trees, canyon full of little natural streams, caves, plants and animals.

What to expect on the hike in Prielom Hornádu?

Guided hike in Prielom Hornádu is both ways trek through natural green gorge, it takes minimum 4 hours to make it to very end.

We either start at Podlesok near Hrabušice village and finish in Čingov camp ground area, or we just do it opposite.

How we will return to starting point?

We will take private Taxi company to get us back to our car.

Please note: hike itself is not an easiest one! It can get more difficult on rainy and springish humid days because hiking trail can get very slippery.

If it sounds difficult for you, there is a way to make it easier:

We will hike Prielom Hornádu only half way to place called Letanovský Mlyn. This option is great for big groups, young kids or elder people.

Hiking tour in Prielom Hornádu in Slovenský Raj will take us minimum 8 hours in total.

Pick up from your hotel in Poprad town, transfer to starting point, hike the canyon Prielom Hornádu for minimum 4 hours, taxi back to starting point, drive you back to your hotel.
