Summer time /May-October/flight is always next to the Tatra mountain or above your chosen city or area you want to fly.
It is due to landscape temperature and your safety.
Winter time /December-March/ it is possible to make hot air balloon flight over Tatra mountain which is also called expedition flight. Minimum flight time is 90 minutes.
Summer: comfortable clothes, higher you are colder gets there, camera and enough battery, sunglasses.
Winter: you would not believe but fire at balloon makes warm atmosphere in basket, but it is always great to be dressed warm, gloves, hat, camera and great battery due to cold temperature up there!
Summer balloon flights are usually up to 1 hour but can be longer, winter balloon flight over Tatra mountain is for minimum 90 minutes.
That depends on you chosen flight, but it can be up to 3000-3500 meters above see level.
